Worked example: a 10-user customer
- Teams Business: list $40 + 5 × $6 = $70/month. Partner price $32 + 5 × $4.80 = $56/month. Your margin at list: $14/month per customer.
- Teams Phone: list $20 + 5 × $3 = $35/month. Partner price $16 + 5 × $2.40 = $28/month. Your margin at list: $7/month per customer.
- Ten customers like that on Teams Business: $140/month margin at list, before your own setup, support and carrier services. (Arithmetic from list prices, not a forecast.)

Partner programme — common questions
- How long can partners trial a customer tenant?
New partner customer tenants receive a 30-day trial on hosted and self-hosted deployments, subject to your concurrent trial allowance. A partner administrator must explicitly purchase the subscription to continue service.
- Who is the partner programme for?
PBX resellers, managed service providers, IT companies and communications providers that sell phone systems to business customers.
- What does "Sell voice with your logo" mean?
Your customers' softphones show your logo and in-app product name on Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, and their setup emails carry the same branding. App logo branding is included with Teams Business. On Teams Phone it's a $20/month add-on, or $16/month for partners (20% off $20).
- How much do partners pay?
20% below list on every seat: Teams Phone $16 per 5-seat base plus $2.40 per extra seat, and Teams Business $32 per 5-seat base plus $4.80 per extra seat (USD, monthly). The app logo branding add-on for Teams Phone is $16/month for partners (20% off $20); branding is included on Teams Business.
- Is self-hosted priced differently?
Self-hosted SessionPBX uses annual licences with its own listed prices and the partner discount. Your partner portal shows the current annual licence and add-on prices. Self-hosted is available to approved partners only.
- Can I run many customers on one system?
Yes. Self-hosted partners can run multi-tenant on their own server. On hosted, each customer gets their own project under your partner account.
- Who bills the end customer?
You do. We bill you at partner price, and you set your own price and invoice your customer.
- Do I need to bring a SIP trunk?
Yes. Connect any SIP-compliant carrier by IP or by credentials. Your carrier bills for numbers and calls, and internal calls between team members are included.
- Is "Teams Phone" Microsoft Teams?
No. Teams Phone and Teams Business are SessionPBX plan names. SessionPBX is a standalone phone system and isn't related to Microsoft Teams.
- Is approval automatic?
No. Every application is reviewed by our team, and partner pricing and workspace access are switched on after approval.
- Do I need a SessionCloud account to apply?
No. If you already have one, add the email you used in the form so we can link it.
